Pulp painting
Pulp painting is a technique that involves using different coloured paper pulp to create art on a freshly made, wet base sheet of handmade paper. Unbleached pulp from different plant fibres often has interesting colours and mixing them allows collages and paintings to be made in the process of pulling sheets from the vat. Pulp painting is an emerging speciality within the broad field of handmade paper art.
